Medicare Advantage Plans

Drug and medical coverage all in one plan can help you get more from your healthcare dollar

You choose a doctor from our broad network of physicians to coordinate your care. These plans have affordable, fixed costs, and offer all the benefits of Original Medicare.

You get the freedom to choose any doctor or hospital that accepts Medicare, but you pay less for services received from in-network     Coverage for most annual screenings at no charge. Some fitness and wellness programs available at no additional cost     With most plans, you get the freedom to choose any doctor or hospital that accepts Medicare, but you pay less for services received from in-network providers.

By choosing a Medicare Advantage plan, you satisfy the requirement for Medicare Parts A/B and D.

Medicare Supplement Plans

Medicare Supplement insurance plans help cover some of the costs not covered by Medicare Parts A and B, such as deductibles and coinsurance, so you have more predictable costs. You can keep the same doctors, you are still in the Medicare program, and you have all of your Medicare rights and protections. Medicare Supplement insurance plans A through G provide benefits at higher premiums with limited out-of-pocket costs. Plans K through N are cost-sharing plans offering similar benefits at lower premiums with greater out-of-pocket costs

Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D)

A Medicare prescription drug plan (PDP) may help lower your prescription drug expenses and protect against higher costs in the future.

However, you can't get prescription drug coverage through Original Medicare. Stand-alone PDPs are only offered by private companies—like Humana—that have a contract with Medicare to provide PDPs. Each plan provides coverage for a specific Drug List, called a formulary. Choose your Medicare Part D plan carefully to make sure it covers medicine you take regularly.

Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C) (like an HMO or PPO) or other Medicare health plan that offers Medicare prescription drug coverage. You get all of your Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) coverage, and prescription drug coverage (Part D), through these plans. Medicare Advantage Plans with prescription drug coverage are sometimes called “MA-PDs.” You must have Part A and Part B to join a Medicare Advantage Plan.

Most Medicare Advantage Plans (Medicare Part C) offer Medicare prescription drug coverage
